Electric Sandwich wurden schon 1967 in Bonn gegründet und spielten anspruchsvollen progressiven Rock. Erste Auftritte waren 1968. Bei einem Bandwettbewerb am 16.10.1971 kamen sie gemeinsam mit den Scorpions auf den geteilten Rang 2 und überzeugten dabei so sehr, daß sie sofort einen Vertrag bei Metronome/Brain bekamen. Die LP, aufgenommen bei Dieter Dierks, erschien Ende 1972 (Brain 1018) mit olivgrünem Label. Nach mehreren illegalen Wiederveröffentlichungen (auf Germanofon, Hiatus, Ear Ass, Icon usw.) erscheint hiermit nun wieder eine rechtmäßige Ausgabe, gezogen von den Mutterbändern.
