The Polvos is a psychedelic fuzz rock band formed in the city of Concepcion at the end of November 2017.
The band is made up of Jose Ignacio Mora on guitar and vocals, Francisco Pavez on guitar and synthesizer, Bruno Flores on guitar, Wladimir Rodriguez on bass and Roberto Mora on drums.
Since 2018, the group has performed various concerts, highlighting the performances at the Woodstaco festivals, Space Trip Fest and the opening show for the Austrian band Porn To Hula, in what was the start of their South American tour. With all the experience of live performances under their arms, The Polvos entered the Bym Records studio in Santiago to record 'Darkness Emotion', their first full-length album. The recording and mixing was in charge of Ness Rodriguez (The Ganjas, Wild Parade), while the mastering was done by Rodrigo Gomberoff (Familea Miranda) at Hukot Estudios, Barcelona.
