After spitting up of NIGHTBIRDS, one of Switzerlands most famous beat bands with several hits in italian charts, two of the musicians worked out in 1971/1972 a soloproject called Waterfall, today a Swiss monster psych./folk rarity. They created an unusual own style mixing accoustic folk, psychedelic, blues and jazz with some chaotism. The electric guitarriffing on two songs is extraordinary. An album with dark poems: a young man dying under strange circumstances...images of mass mind-control . drugs . pollution . hope. An album beloved by those into folk or jazz and hated by those expecting a balanced symphonic album. |
