Emma Myldenberger is not the name of a person, but a folk band from the Odenwald. Their second LP, 'Tour de Trance' from 1979, is similar to their first one: pleasant and skilfully presented folk music played partly on ancient instruments, but not as traditional as Pentangle; rather like Fairport Convention or The Trees. Dag Erik Asbjørnsen: 'Music of a tranquil and folky beauty.' And right he is. The two tracks on the first side contain German lyrics, those on the flip side are purely instrumental. Those who like the group's first LP will not be disappointed by their second one. The masterpiece on the album is the 19-minute long 'Regenreigen'. In the booklet, there is again a long retrospective report by Michel Meyer about those days. The accurately recorded bonus tracks were taken from a gig in the Berlin Quartier Latin on April 8th, 1979.
