DEYSS is a Swiss neo Progressive band, that had its moment of glory during the second part of the Eighties. Its music evokes the best of MARILLION and GENESIS, of course with its own personality. 'At King' (1985) offers a very sophisticated, energetic and expressive music, with a lot of breaks in rhythms, many climates changes and wonderful combinations between vocals, keyboards and guitar. A very lyrical and technically perfect music. The Swiss musicians' second album, 'Vision In The Dark' (1987), is more elaborated than the first record. It is still marked by GENESIS influences in the orchestrations, the richness of the compositions and the instrumentations. Furthermore, there is a YES influence in the vocals. Truly excellent ! 'The Dragonfly From The Sun' is a box containing a CD and a 52-page booklet, both telling the story and the first amateur recordings of the band, from its beginnings as a trio (Guitar, keyboards & drums).
