| This is the 2nd album of Hanau`s finest Stoner-, Psychedelic-, Indie-rockers CLIFFSIGHT, always with that special sense for a tuneful piece of music. 9 songs show the refined efforts - compared to the first album ,,soulful man' (Long Hair, LHC 99) - to create an album with all the aspects of Stoner and Psychedelic music. Highlight is 7 and half minute title ,,Metamorphosis' with an end passage that let your head banging mad and should have been 10 times longer. From title 1 to 9 harmonic ideas, rhythm changes, colourful guitar phrases and impressing vocals by singer Tim (sometimes compared to Jim Morrison) make the record a joy to listen to. Cliffsight is undoubtful one of the most creative new young bands of today. Great stuff. CD and LP (Gatefold sleeve) come with great coverpicture by famous psychedelic painter Helmut Wenske (NEKTAR, DZYAN) and all lyrics and photo. Don't miss it. |
