Neues 3CD Set in der bekannten und erfolgreichen »The Triple Album Collection« Serie, welches die ersten 3 Alben der Düsseldorfer Krautrock Legende (»La Düsseldorf«, »Viva« und »Individuelles«) enthält.
Mitglieder waren der ehemalige Kraftwerk Schlagzeuger Klaus Dinger (Gesang, Gitarre, Keyboards), sein Bruder Thomas Dinger (Gesang, Perkussion) sowie Hans Lampe (Perkussion, Elektronik). Typisch für die Musik von La Düsseldorf sind lange, über weite Strecken instrumentale Stücke, die mit Klangkollagen und spärlichem Gesang, der oft nur deutsche, englische oder zuweilen auch französische »Sprachfetzen« enthält, ergänzt wurden.
Die Musik von Neu! (mit Klaus Dinger) und La Düsseldorf übte u. a. großen Einfluss auf die Musik von Brian Eno und David Bowie aus. Bowie nannte La Düsseldorf sogar »The Soundtrack of the Eighties«. |
