Music style: Krautrock/Psychedelic - more popular at that time as 'Progressive Rock' .
The MÜLL style of music:
In the early days this was mainly songs by Jimi Hendrix, Ten Years After, Steamhammer and Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green). Based on these roots the band developped progressively it's own hard and driving Rock typical for this decade. The songs were rather long, with complex melodies, improvisation and repetitive phrases. They were written during long complex sessions in the Diakonissen-shelter 'Bunker' in Stuttgart West.
Locations of MÜLL concerts (1970-1979). They range from youth joints (like Jugendhaus Ost, West or Anna in Cannstatt), via local parish halls, sports club carnivals, dancing schools, Peter 'Pit' Haug'a AT-Atlantic- Jazz-Club in der Büchsenstraße and Stuttgart Academy of Arts to Sinkkasten in Frankfurt/M or the Black Bird in Geneva.
