Rund sieben Jahre sind seit der Veröffentlichung des selbstbetitelten Debüts von Eisenherz ins Land gezogen, wodurch die sechsköpfige Formation nahezu in Vergessenheit geriet. Nun melden sich die beiden Protagonisten, Heinz (Gesang) und die Sopranistin Yvonne, mit einem Dutzend neuer Tracks zurück, die abermals eine vielseitige, bunte Mischung aus Gothic Metal und Neuer Deutscher Härte bieten. Allerdings entpuppt sich jene stilistische Unentschlossenheit auch als künstlerische Schwachstelle von Eisenherz: Seine reizvollsten und innovativsten Momente besitzt der von Michael Mainx (Der W. u.a.) produzierte Silberling bei cineastischen, episch anmutenden Tracks wie dem opulenten Opener „Die Nacht“ oder dem bombastisch-symphonischen „Du liebst mich nicht“, wobei die musikalischen Paten - in diesem Fall Crematory und Megaherz - oftmals zu deutlich durchschimmern.
