After their esteemed 2014 release „Volume 10“ and the following small intermezzo with the record of dance music “Nein! Hits-à-gogo” Electric Orange is back with their 11th studio album. Equipped with a broad range of vintage instruments out of the 60/70th the band is connected to the initial Krautrock aera in a very special way. On “Misophonia” they go about it skillfully and bring the vintage influence into the modern age. Pure Neo Krautrock at the highest level.
Nach dem 2014er Werk „Volume 10“ hier nun das das 11. Studiowerk der Aachener Band, die seit nunmehr 1992 mit ihren außergewöhnlichen Sounds durch das uns bekannte Universum treiben.
Hypnotisch, Psychedelisch, Düster, Rockig, Elektronisch, Krautrock… auch wenn sich viele Geister streiten was Krautrock eigentlich bedeutet oder wo immer dieser Ausdruck eigentlich herkommt, ist es für die Band kein Schimpfwort, da Krautrock genau wie die Musik von Electric Orange stilistisch keinesfalls festgelegt ist. |
