Kalemegdan Disk Release Information
“Ejszakai orszagut” (“Nocturnal Country Road”), brings a further development of the sound of 10000 lepes towards progressive heavy rock with raw guitar and driving organ and was distributed in a fancy fold out cover again. This recording increased the rigor of their music extensively by deploying an aggressively attacking guitar, although besides trumpets (“Ahol a boldogsagot osztottak!”) even harps (“Oh, jöjj!”), harmonicas (“Veszkijarat”) and celli (“Maradj velem”) were sported. In the GDR the song “Utcan, a teren” became a hit because of its riff played by the piano instead of the guitar.
This album is the climax of Omega’s basic line-up Laszlo Benk?, Janos Kobor, Gabor Presser, Tamas Mihaly, György Molnar and Jozsef Laux and the last one before they split. The bonus tracks are taken from three singles recorded in 1970 and 1971.1. Oh, jöjj! 4:00
