This CD is the second live release of the intergalatic jams by guitar wizard Ax Genrich and groove monster Mani Neumeier known from Guru Guru along with the space bassist Dave Schmidt. There are five long (8:40 Ð 23:25) tracks of totally improvised cosmic psychedelia that was recorded 2004-2005 on the album. ÒIntergalacticÓ starts the journey and thereÕs plenty of time to let the track grow slowly in its over 20 minutes length. Little by little the rhythm get stronger and the jam starts to take more solid shape. Hypnotic and floating stuff. ItÕs incredible how the trio can produce such a psychedelic web with so plain line-up! These guys obviously live for their music. The 15 minutes long ÒBeyond AcapulcoÓ continues on the same paths previously mapped by Ash Ra Temple. Now there is also some vocals. Really great, psychedelic jamming that in the end goes rather wild, as well. ÒGofingerÓ presents the bit more jazzy section and I think itÕs the weakest moment on this album, but still not bad at all. ÒUrugÓ takes the listeners into more cosmic spheres again; a nice and varied number. The almost 21 minutes long ÓLSD & Uschj NerkeÓ begins with psychedelic cymbals and effects. At the four minute marker the laid back drums come to life and a really dreamy, mesmerising jam begins. These fellows are definitely the cream of the present krautrock! We also get to hear some guitar soloing. At about fifteen minutes the track grows into a groovy beat. Wild jam, cheers dudes! Ax shines especially in his use of effects, Mani beats like during the best Guru Guru years and itÕs hard to imagine a better bass player than Dave for the job. The chaotic boosting in the end is a great ending for this marvellous album. Get it!
